I’m a caring therapist passionate about helping individuals and families overcome their problems.
My style is approachable and professional. Clients tell me they quickly feel comfortable with me and confident that I can help them solve their problems.
Having grown up with learning disabilities and ADD, I understand what it’s like to struggle. Finding a way through can be daunting and isolating.
Fortunately, I had a strong bond with my parents, who helped me cope with the challenges I faced.
Because of my early life experiences, I know the damaging effects that can occur in your adult life, even when your parents or caregivers loved you and did the best they could.
Even seemingly minor problems in childhood can lead to insecurity, depression, and anxiety in adult life.
They can also cause problems in your intimate relationships.
For example, you might have fears about communicating your true feelings with your partner. You may feel insecure and unloved even when your partner is loving. You could get stuck in patterns of unhealthy conflict in your relationships.
The primary therapy approaches I use are Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) for individuals, couples and families. I also am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and have been influenced by multiple other evidence-based approaches.
These methods help improve your thoughts and feelings, heal wounds at the source of your problems, boost feelings of self-worth and create more loving connections in intimate relationships.
Whether you attend therapy for yourself, your relationship or your child, I’ll create a safe place where you can overcome your concerns.
We’ll explore the root issues blocking your ability to feel good about your life and are wreaking havoc in your relationships.
