You are welcome here!

I want to welcome you to Inroads Counselling. It takes a combination of courage and foresight to recognize that problems don’t just change on their own. Sometimes we need a little professional help to accelerate the process of change and healing. It is a guarantee that life comes with difficulty and pain. However, what is not a guarantee is how we get through life difficulties whether it be mental health, addiction, loss, or relationship problems. Sometimes we experience a combination of the above, putting pressure on our usual ways of coping. A trained counsellor with knowledge and experience can both reduce the impact of life difficulties and help a person access their resiliency and capacity for wellness and fulfillment. I believe that everyone comes with the internal resources to bring forth personal and interpersonal change that lasts. Perhaps counselling is the next step for you to unlock your strengths and abilities to overcome the challenging issues you face. I am committed to doing my part by providing a comfortable therapeutic environment to facilitate a meaningful and measurable change experience. I look forward to meeting with you soon.

COVID update: Inroads Counselling is still offering sessions for current and new clients.

Inroads Counselling is offering both virtual and in-person sessions. I am carefully following provincial standards to minimize risks. For specific details about how your in-person sessions might look different, please read my Current Standards of Practice.

COVID has and continues to impact us in many ways. Beyond the physical health and economic implications of the virus, the mental health burden carried by each of us is significant. Some of us have lost friends and loved ones, and many of us have lost work. The increased time at home and restrictions on social activities have put a strain on our relationships. If you’re experiencing anxiety, depression, or other challenges with mental health, know that you don’t have to face it alone. Click here to book an appointment.
